How do you remove and prevent flash rust on stainless steel?
Before
P8030257
One of the problems of stainless steels is that they are susceptible to rust if they do not have correct maintenance. Some common rust problems are dealt with, and it is shown how the rust can be removed by using a simple kit consisting of two liquid agents and a special sponge. Innosoft B570 for use on stainless steel and other metals.

It is a special deep cleaner that removes, in the main, oxides like rust from stainless steel in a single operation. Innosoft B570 consists of a white viscous liquid based on organic acids and surface active agents and does not contain abrasives. It is suitable for the intensive cleaning of contaminated surfaces like flash rust and rusty areas, also known as 'tea-stains'. It is certainly not a pickling agent because in principle it does not attack the metal.

It is therefore non-aggressive for metals but very effective on oxides and dirt.

Innoprotect B580 which completely removes any residues left after the use of Innosoft B570.

A further advantage of this product is that it leaves a protective microscopic surface layer which helps to prevent further corrosion. Due to the deep-cleaning characteristics of Innosoft B570, the danger of 'under-deposit corrosion' of stainless steel is also reduced. This form of corrosion occurs under deposits because oxygen access is limited.

On the other hand, the much smaller chloride ions are easily able to penetrate beneath these deposits and initiate the attack. In particular, ground surfaces are more susceptible to this phenomenon and Innosoft B570 is an excellent product to combat this.
